Strongsville has always been a community that values excellence within our safety forces. Thanks to the continued support of residents, businesses, and community partners like you, I’m happy to announce the construction of our fifth fire station in the center of town is now underway. Scheduled to open in April 2027, this state-of-the-art facility will significantly enhance emergency response capabilities for the busy Route 82 and Route 42 corridors while further strengthening EMS and fire protection throughout the entire city.

While this new station represents a major investment in our community’s future, OUR WORK IS NOT YET COMPLETE.

I am reaching out to you for your financial assistance to support a 1.0 mill fire operating levy that will be on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. The operating levy, which will cost the average Strongsville homeowner $122.50 annually (based on $350,000 home valuation), will allow the City to fully maximize the impact of our new fire station by providing funding to hire additional firemedics (trained as both firefighters and paramedics) to adequately staff the new facility.  

Your contribution will assist in producing and distributing campaign materials that explain the need for continued investment in Strongsville’s EMS/Fire Services and why this initiative is so important to the future of our City. Increasing call volumes, an aging population, and the continued expansion of senior housing and care facilities have created a critical need to ensure our safety forces have the staff necessary to protect our residents and businesses.
